A Messy Panel-Show

Dino sat backstage, he was somewhat nervous having never been a main presenter on TV before, with only some brief late-night gambling TV show appearances as a co-host to a more glamourous woman being the only real experience he had.

He was well aware that wasn’t the reason he’d been asked to host a new panel-based gameshow, that was partly because of his old friendship with regular TV personality Nikki, who had been asked to be a panellist on the show.

She’d been able to suggest some names for the other key roles on the show, and so with Nikki being one captain, Dino had been offered the presenter role, and Angela another of Nikki’s friends had signed on to be the other team captain.

10 minutes later the two captains were in position, both sat in the centre of 3 chairs behind a counter which housed a scoreboard, in between the two counters was Dino’s chair, he had a smaller desk in front of him which contained all of his notes and questions.

“Hello, and welcome to a new show, I’m your host Dino” he said with a somewhat tentative start as he waved to the audience.

we’ll be taking 6 contestants and seeing which team of three will win our grand prize, and which three will be facing a forfeit.

And don’t worry I can confirm the losing team will be facing a messy forfeit” The audience cheered at this, knowing they would be in for an evening of messy entertainment.

“Now let me introduce our team captains, on one team we have the wonderful and I’m sure you’ll recognise her as serial WAM victim Nikki who will be leading the Yellow Team”

The camera zoomed in as a light lit up on Nikki, she smiled and waved to the audience, who cheered wildly, after this Dino turned his attention in the other direction as he shouted out “And give a warm welcome to our second captain, Angela who of course will be captaining our Green Team”

A slightly quieter reaction was heard from the audience, with Angela not being as recognisable at the moment.

Dino however was now introducing Angela’s guests with Becca a local accounts assistant being the first one called out, she smiled in a similarly nervous fashion to Dino moments earlier.

Becca was 26 years old and had been dared to go on the panel show by her friend who’d seen the advert for contestant applications online.

On the other side of Angela sat a more well-known name with many people in the audience correctly identifying her as Jessica Cunningham who Dino confirmed had previously been a contestant on The Apprentice a few years prior, surviving until the interview round.

Dino then moved onto Nikki’s team as Angela and her teammates properly introduced themselves to each other, Dino first spoke to the brunette next to Nikki sat nearest to himself, she was called Holly Trust and aged 36 she was an agent whose current most successful client sat next to her.

She’d been set up by Nikki having wanted to get back at Holly for ensuring she ended up getting trashed a lot, not least when she was on a recent holiday in Greece, and so Holly had reluctantly agreed to join Nikki on the show, and it showed on her face as she pouted towards the camera.

“Finally, she might be last on my list along with being so short we actually had to get her a booster seat please welcome the delightful Jules Breach” Dino stated with a cheeky grin now fully warming up to his role, the camera focused on Jules who jokingly swore in Dino’s direction clearly taking the teasing well.

“Now with our introductions out of the way it is time for Round 1 which going to a team game, I’ll be asking questions and anyone on the team can buzz in to answer it, with 10 points being scored for your team if you get it right”

Dino asked the first question and Holly was the first to jump in and press the buzzer, she was able to correctly answer it and moved her team into the lead on 10 points, just about managing to break a smile.

After the next question, Becca buzzed and she too answered correctly which levelled the scores, as Dino moved onto her third question, question three was correctly answered by Holly once more as she beat Angela to buzzing in, the next two questions followed this pattern with Nikki and then Jules correctly answering one each.

After this, Dino confirmed with five questions gone Nikki’s team were in the lead with 40 points, compared to Angela’s 10, Becca and Jessica looked more determined after this, and Becca was able buzz in to reduce the score from question 6.

However, when Dino asked question 7 Jessica was a bit too quick to buzz and unfortunately for her unable to answer the question correctly, this gave Nikki’s team a free shot and after taking their time they were able to correctly answer the question once again extending their lead.

Angela and Nikki’s team shared the points for the next two questions which meant that Dino reached the 10^th and final question of round 1, Nikki’s team held the lead with 60 points compared to Angela’s 30.

Despite the determined looked on Angela’s face she was beaten to the buzzer by Jules who nailed the answer receiving compliments from Dino causing her to blush as the round finished.

Round 2 – Individuals

Dino explained that the non captains would play in round 2, and each of them would face a series of questions with a number of points on offer for correct answers just like in round 1.

He turned to Angela’s team and Becca decided to go first facing the 25 questions she got off to a good start but in the end as the time and pressure increased, she only finished up with a score of 11, she seemed a little dejected when Dino informed her that the lowest scorer in round 2 would face their own forfeit.

He turned to his other side and asked which of Jules or Holly would be going next, with Jules agreeing to go first, she set off confidently answer question after question correctly.

By the time she had answered a few wrong she was confident she had scored a solid number of points, and once more as Dino revealed her score he gave her a compliment which she reciprocated leading to Nikki to interject with “Come on guys, lets focus I’ve got a gameshow to win”

Dino laughed before turning his attention towards Jessica who performed much better in this round compared with her attempts during the team questions, scoring a solid 95 points for her team, although it was likely to keep them behind Nikki’s team she was relieved on a personal level to not have to face the solo forfeit.

Finally it was Holly’s turn, Becca appeared on camera looking on nervously as she desperately hoped not to be facing a forfeit, she tensed up as Holly got off to good start, but as the end of the questions approached she felt she had a chance, with her hopes rising as Holly got three in a row incorrect.

However as soon as her hopes had been raised, they were dashed with Dino announced that Holly had correctly answered 12 questions. Becca couldn’t believe it she had lost by 1 single stupid question.

Dino stood up from his desk and approached Becca, he put out his hand and instructed Becca to join him, she took his hand and as she did she wished she was walking onto a dancefloor with Dino for a tango, rather than what she suspected was going to be a messy surprise.

Dino revealed a large gungetank and ushered the resigned Becca inside once she took her seat Dino closed the door and locked it shut, after asking if Becca was ready, which she nervously replied she wasn’t Dino started the countdown.

Becca smiled with nervous anticipation, she was not only going to be gunged on TV, with a large audience watching and cheering but also the attractive Italian looking host was going to be the one administrating it.

The countdown reached 0 and Dino pulled the cord next to the tank which set off a loud siren, he stepped back away from the tank as Becca looked around, finally a torrent of Yellow gunge flowed down onto her from above.

The gunge cascaded down over her head, coating her face and sliding down into the cleavage of her blouse, she couldn’t see anything as the flow of gunge continued eventually causing her some surprise as it seeped inside the back of her blouse and all the way down her back which caused her to arch her back in shock.

Unfortunately for Becca this was a big mistake as her face and chest moved directly into the target zone of the gunge and she took a large mouthful as it was still open with shock, the rest flowed inside her top and nestled against her bra.

Dino couldn’t help but laugh at Becca’s predicament, if this is how things were going to carry on he knew he’d certainly enjoy himself as the presenter.

Green gunge continued to flow down onto Becca from above, but things got worse for her as more jets sprayed the side of her head with a different shade of Yellow from the left and the right of the tank walls, something she had not been expecting.

Becca felt so many emotions, she could no longer see all of the people and could now barely hear anything thanks to the gunge covering her eyes and ears, however the texture of the gunge felt so odd and she had no real way to describe it other than slimey, but overall it wasn’t as bad as she’d feared.

This left her looking like an strange flag of two dark yellow stripes sandwiching a brighter one down the middle as the gunge mix had been mixed in a way to ensure it didn’t blend together,

This carried on much to everyone’s amusement, with Angela and Jessica forgetting they were currently losing and just enjoying watching Becca getting trashed, as Dino left Becca in the tank as he returned to his chair.

“Now whilst we leave Becca in the tank and the gunge is drained away it is time for us to play Round 3.

This time it is only for the captains and so please Nikki and Angela please can you step forwards to your podiums”.

The two women stood up and walked to the podiums that had been positioned either side of Dino’s desk, they stood facing towards each other, in a face off style.

Dino explained how he would read out a statement and the two captains would have to press either the Green or the Red button in front of them, Green stood for Correct and red for Incorrect.

Dino read out the five statements and both Nikki and Angela who started to try and make the other laugh in an attempt to distract their opponent entered their answers, once all five had been locked in Dino instructed the pair of them to return to their normal seats.

Dino started to call out Nikki and Angela’s predictions with Nikki predicting the statement was False, however she swore as Angela cheered when it was confirmed she’d correctly guessed the statement was correct.

The roles were reversed when Nikki correctly predicted the second answer to be correct, and Angela now knew she faced a tough challenge to score enough points to make up for her team losing both Rounds 1 and 2, she was relived more than anything when she got the third one correct as opposed to Nikki who’d once again picked the opposite answer to Angela.

However, with both Nikki and Angela guessing the final two questions incorrect and matching answers it came as no surprise to Angela and Jessica that despite claiming back some of the points Nikki’s team had won the game with 260 compared to Angela’s team on 230.

Nikki, Holly and Jules cheered wildly and hugged each other, with Nikki jumping out of her seat to celebrate causing her boobs to jiggle much to the audience’s appreciation, opposite them Angela and Jessica commiserated one another.

As they did this two custard cream pies sprang from the desk in front of them, the first finding its target and slamming the surprised Jessica in the face, she screamed out loud. The other failed to find it’s mark so effectively as it caught Angela on the shoulder still sending custard and cream covering her side.

Dino though called the three winners over and handed them a pie each, and instructed them to pie one of the losers with it, Nikki was unsurprisingly the quickest to react as she approached her friend grinning widely.

She smashed the pie straight into Angela’s face causing her to lean back in her chair a bit, as Nikki rubbed the pie innards into her Angela’s ensuring she was covered as much as possible, after this and having watched an expert in Nikki, Holly decided to have a go as she targeted Jessica.

This pie had a more chocolatey filling and so as it impacted into Jessica’s face she was turned from a yellowy mess to a brown mess, her formerly tight white dress not looking so clean as multiple pie messes spilled down her front.

Finally, Jules held the pie that had been for Becca, went for Angela again this time she brought the pie down on top of Angela’s head crowning her in the chocolate innards, which led to a height related  quip from Dino about it not being often Jules got to throw something down onto someone.

With this out of the way Dino instructed Jessica who had somewhat recovered from the pie surprise to join him by the gungetank where he opened the door and instructed her to join the still soggy Becca, who squeezed up on the seat and allowed Jessica to sit down alongside her.

Once in position Dino teased them as he asked a question, “Did you ever wonder what happened to the gunge we drained away earlier?

Yup, you guessed it, we believe in recycling here”

Jessica looked confused whereas Becca had a sense of foreboding, the yellow gunge flowed down onto them from above and this time caught them both out due to how cold it was, the pair of losers hugged together as the gunge covered them completely, Jessica’s dress now joining Becca in yellow as the chocolate pie was washed off under the force of the gunge.

Jessica tried to wipe her eyes, but was unable to keep up with the flow of the gunge and so eventually gave up and reluctantly let the gunge coat her as Becca looked up to allow the gunge to flow over her face.

Angela meanwhile was led to a chair and had her arms strapped into it, the chair was on rails and she gradually could feel the chair moving backwards, unable to see behind her she couldn’t tell how far away she was from her messy fate.

As she slowly retreated along her railway tracks, more gunge was being poured over Jessica and Becca this time however it was thick chunky blue gunge which Becca didn’t find as pleasant and Jessica outright hated as she screamed loudly inside the tank.

Eventually and without any prompting the chair suddenly reached its destination and from its upright position it swung back 120 degrees so that Angela had been dunked completely into a gungetank secured in the floor she was engulfed by the slime and after being held under for a few seconds was brought back up again.

This repeated itself a further two times leaving Angela panting for breath as she dripped thick oozy gunge onto the floor, however things weren’t finished for her yet as Nikki and Dino brought out some eggs and started to smash them on top of the losing captains head as Jules and Holly poured industrial sized tins of beans and gravy respectively over the top of Angela’s head.

By the time everyone was finished Angela’s dress which had started black, and was now unable to stay up, her black bra underneath was clearly visible through all the gunge and food, and she had no way to re-cloth herself.

Finally, Dino brought the show to a close as he waved to the cameras and headed off stage chatting with Nikki, before flirting with Jules once more before they headed off to their changing rooms, leaving a destroyed Angela sat strapped in the seat waiting for a timid stagehand to untie her after freeing the gungey Jessica and Becca.
